Here at Calvary, we believe leading people to follow Jesus is the central mission of the church. We look to put this mission into practice by helping people take their next step in following Jesus. If you'd like to know more information about our church, feel free to email us at email@example.com.
Our church is a place where all are invited in to discover who God is and the purpose He has for all of us in His story. We think church should be one of the most engaging and exciting places on the planet—a place where people of any and all backgrounds can experience a God who is real and relevant in their lives today. And that's exactly what we want to help you do!
We love meeting new people and we would love to meet you!
Calvary is located in Taylorville, Illinois.

"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age"
We love offering little nuggets of advice, support, or sympathy. They come in handy when we want people to feel better. But what if the guidance you're giving or receiving just isn't true? What if God Never Said That?
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”
The summer is a blast and we know with vacations, cook outs, summer sports, and summer fun it can be easy to get out of the routine of being in church as a family.
That is why we are kicking off the new school year with a special day for your family and friends.
Come join us on Sunday, September 10th.
It's no secret that in 2017 we have dedicated it to prayer and making Calvary a house of prayer. With that, we are going to do something new this year that we've never done.
We are going to set aside every 2nd Wednesday night of the month this year specifically for worship and extended prayer time. We want to celebrate what God is doing in our church and create space for God to ignite our hearts with a deeper passion to impact our community.
